Typical Benefits:
1. Easy to dissolve, with good acid and alkali resistance, optimal applied PH value is 5-7.
2. At pH 4.5-7, the whitening effect is significantly better than VBL, which can reduce the dosage by 15-25%
3. Can be used in the same bath with anionic or non ionic surfactants.
Application for cotton:
Hopebright BA is a powdery product. Before dilute, make it to paste form by adding 1 part of BA and 2 parts of cold water, then add hot water at 70- 80℃ by 50 times of the diluted paste, stir and filter evenly, ready for use. It is suitable for over-flow machine, jigger, etc.
1. Exhaustion whitening process:
Dosage: 0.05-0.5%
(o.w.f) Anhydrous sodium sulfate: 0-15
g/L Temperature: 80-100℃
Time: 20-40 mins
2. Pretreatment and whitening in one bath:
Dosage: 0.05-0.5%(o.w.f)
Scouring agent: 0.3-0.5 g/L
NaOH: 2-5% (o.w.f)
H 2 O 2 (100%): 2-3 %(o.w.f)
Hydrogen peroxide stabilizer: 0.2 %(o.w.f)
Temperature: 95-100℃
Time: 40-60 min
Note: Actual process should be adjusted according to preliminary tries.
Application for paper:
1. When whitening the pulp, BA should be added before alum or cationic additives, with a dosage of 0.05-0.4% (for absolute dry pulp).
2. In the surface sizing process, it can be used together with CMC, PVA, starch, and anionic or cationic synthetic sizing agents.
3. In the coating process, after dissolution, it is added in the form of an aqueous solution at any stage of coating preparation.
Operating and safety instructions:
1. Suggest weighing and diluting separately when preparing the solution.
2. Strongly recommend using soft water in dilution, if soft water is not available, the stability needs to be tested before making the solution.
3. After dilution, it should not be stored for a long time.

Package and storage:
Cardboard drum 25 kg, can be stored for 12 months under room temperature and hermetic condition without exposure to sunlight.
