Hope 1296 is an amino-modified polydimethylsiloxane. The primary amine groups on amino dimethicone brings affinity for hair, resulting in a product with benefits such as conditioning and feel.

Application

Used as ingredient for transparent shampoo and hair care products. Conditioners can be prepared by including Hope 1296 in the oil phase of a conditioner or by blending it with the refatting agent contained in a shampoo. Hope 1296 is compatible with a variety of typical hair care formulation ingredients, including quaternary ammonium salts, cyclopentasiloxane, isododecane and partially with alcohol.
